The Rhizobium Research Laboratory maintains a collection
of some 1,000 strains
covering grain, prairie and pasture legumes.
These strains are either stored in a freeze-dried
condition or frozen in glycerol at -70oC, and are available
to workers in other laboratories. Host species for which we have
numerous isolates, and can provide effective inoculant strains ,
including some strains that can be used with more than one species,
