Astragalus canadensis (Canadian milk vetch)
- 77 strains, including a number of isolates from China
- Most effective strains identified in growth chamber and field
studies: UMR6335, UMR6355
Strains of rhizobia for A. canadensis, derive mainly from
the Agassiz Dunes, Ana Gronseth, Bluestem, Chippewa, Helen Allison
Savanna, Kellogg-Weaver Dunes, Pankratz, and Roscoe prairies. Descriptions
of these sites are available through the Minnesota
DNR- Scientific and Natural Areas.
